Linda M. Thompson

Linda was born and raised in Saskatchewan where she obtained her Bachelors degree in Laboratory Technology at the University of Regina. In 1977, Linda moved to Calgary to work in a clinical laboratory setting specializing in radio-immunoassay, at the Foothills Hospital.

During her 20 years of service she was involved in many facets of medical technology including equipment and procedures validation, quality control and poster presentation in North America. During this time she obtained her Advanced Registered Technologist designation in Clinical Chemistry from the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science.

Linda is a registered Patent Agent in Canada (2003) and the United States (2004).
